Students may count only one of ITALIAN 410 or PORT 280 (formerly PORT 415) toward the Spanish major or minor requirements. Spanish majors (only) may complete a Spanish cognate course in addition to Italian 410.
PORTUG 280 - Portuguese for Speakers of Romance Languages counts as a 279-399-level course toward the Spanish major or minor (elective). Students may count only one of ITALIAN 410 or PORT 280 toward the Spanish major or minor requirements.
ROMLANG 253/SPANISH 373 (this topic & section only) - only when taken as a meet-together with SPANISH 373, The Mediterranean counts as a 279-399-level elective for the Spanish major or minor if the work is completed in Spanish. If the work is completed in English, this course may count as a cognate for the Spanish major (only), at the 300-level.
