Biophysics is excited to welcome Kyra Taylor, who also goes by "Ky", to our staff team as the new Student Services Administrator! Kyra is the primary point of contact for all undergraduate and graduate student services. She can assist with advising, general resources and support, funding questions, and any other inquiries that current, prospective, or visiting students may have.
Kyra began her higher education journey as a Program Specialist in the U-M Center for Campus Involvement, spearheading events like Festifall and Michigan's Best Dance Crew. She then shifted her focus to Academic Affairs, serving as an Academic Advisor in the Newnan Advising Center for four years before taking her talent to the University of North Carolina at Charlotte's Transfer Center. Now, she is excited to be in Biophysics and continue assisting our students and supporting our close-knit community.
Outside of work, Kyra enjoys baking, building Legos, and participating in athletic competitions, such as marathons, half-marathons, HYROX, and triathlons. A fun fact about Kyra is that she has a twin brother who will be retiring from the NAVY next year.
