Professor Charles L. Brooks, III is named the 2012 recipient of the Protein Society's Hans Neurath Award
The Hans Neurath Award was established to recognize and honor a single individual who has made a recent contribution of unusual merit to basic research in the field of protein science, including but not restricted to the chemistry, design, folding, structure, or biological function of proteins. The award, which is named for one of the pioneers of modern protein science and is supported by the Hans Neurath Foundation, is intended for original and singular discoveries rather than for cumulative or lifetime contributions.
