What classes have you most enjoyed? Why?
Law and Society (SOC 354) with Professor Levitsky, because the content of that class was highly interesting and also because it gave me a new appreciation for group projects. Also, Sociology of Criminology (SOC 368) with Professor McGann because the readings and class material heavily inspired my honors thesis.
What inspired you to major in Sociology?
Freshman year I took an introductory Sociology course on race and inequality and one of the first things we read was Paulo Freire's Pedagogy of the Oppressed which revolutionized my way of thinking. After that I was hooked.
