Día De Los Muertos Community Altar

Everyone across campus is encouraged to participate in the annual Día de Los Muertos Community Altar by submitting a photograph(s) of your loved one(s). Each picture will be printed, framed, and displayed on the decorated tables.

Save the date for the opening event on Thursday, October 23rd, from 6-7 pm in the East Quad, first-floor Atrium Corridor. There will be fun raffles and gift bag giveaways for the first 50 attendees.

The community altar will be on display from October 23rd through November 2nd. Submit your photos by Monday, October 20, 2025. For questions, please contact Teresa Sanchez-Snell at tssnell@umich.edu.
