Recent PhD recipient Alex Kapiamba is one of 10 recipients of the ProQuest Distinguished Dissertation Award from the Rackham Graduate School. Alex is recognized for his dissertation "Parabolic Towers and the Asymptotic Geometry of the Mandelbrot Set", completed under the direction of Sarah Koch. Recent graduate Caleb Mayer received an honorable mention for his dissertation "Mathematical Modeling of Circadian Rhythms from Wearable Data across Populations and Health Conditions." Congratulations to Alex and Caleb!
