Steven Dworkin

I am a specialist in Romance and Hispanic linguistics. My principal research area is the history of the Spanish language, with emphasis on the evolution over time of the Spanish lexicon, and the nature of language change.

In the Department of Romance Languages, I regularly teach such undergraduate and graduate courses as Introduction to the Romance Languages, History of the Spanish Language, Medieval Spanish, Structure of Spanish, and New World Spanish.

I also hold an appointment in the Department of Linguistics.
