FTVM Students Win at Ypsi 24-Hour Film Shootout
Over the last weekend of September, FTVM students participated in the Ypsi 24-hour Shootout, where participants were given 24 hours to shoot, edit, and submit a short film for prizes. Samantha Gioia (director), Davey Sawitzky (director of photography), Max Berry (editor), Ilya Beskin, and other members of their team, Three-Toed Productions, worked diligently to produce "Meet Me Here," which won an honorable mention and tied for the Audience Award.
Director Samantha Gioia highly encourages other FTVM students to participate in the competition next year. "It's really an awesome opportunity for FTVM students to exercise their creative and organizational muscles. My team and I had an absolute blast and came out with a project we're very proud of," Gioia said.
