Program Manager for Student Engagement and Operations, CLaSH
About
Karelyn comes from an environmental health background. She earned her Master’s of Health Behavior and Health Education (MPH) in 2024, while working at Community Action to Promote Healthy Environments (CAPHE) at the School of Public Health. In 2026, Karelyn began lecturing at UofM Dearborn, teaching undergraduates about environmental health, and began her new role as Program Manager for the Center for Land Surface Hazards (CLaSH). After aspiring to work in the environmental field for over a decade, she is thrilled to be working at EARTH. In her free time, Karelyn can be found listening to adventure podcasts, spending time with family +dogs, or planning trips somewhere off the beaten trail.
