Nora Krinitsky

Nora Krinitsky is a historian of the modern United States who specializes in urban history, African American history, and the history of the American carceral state. She earned her PhD from the Department of History at the University of Michigan in 2017. She is the Director of the Prison Creative Arts Project as well as a lecturer in the Social Theory & Practice program and the First Year Writing Seminar program.
