The Residential College (RC) supports a range of funding requests, from student-led initiatives and organizational needs to individual academic and professional experiences. Edcucational initiatives and class trips, like the one in the image, are also eligible for funding support.
Much of this funding is made possible through the generosity of RC alumni and donors, whose support expands access to academic, creative, and community-based opportunities for students.
Requests are reviewed by the RC Executive Committee (RCEC), with priority given to RC students and faculty, and evaluated based on alignment with the RC’s mission, impact, and available resources.

General Funding from the RC Executive Committee
Open to students, student organizations, faculty, and campus partners. These requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis and may support events, programming, travel, materials, or other initiatives that align with the RC’s mission.

Student Scholarships and Awards
Designed specifically for current RC students, these funds support individual experiences such as study away, internships, research, professional development opportunities, and creative or academic projects. This is the primary funding pathway for most students.
