The Golden Apple Award is the only award of its kind at the University of Michigan. It gives students the unique opportunity to honor our truly exceptional faculty members by nominating them for excellence in teaching. It is administered by SHOUT (Students Honoring Outstanding University Teaching) every year. This year, six RC faculty were nominated for the honor, and they are (with their program area):

Cristhian Espinoza-Pino (Spanish Language and PALMA Advisor)
Elizabeth Goodenough (Arts and Ideas in the Humanities)
Michael Gould (Music, Center for World Performance Studies)
Ashley Lucas (Prison Creative Arts Project)
Catherine Badgley (Science, Technology and Society)
Virginia Murphy (Social Theory and Practice & East Quad Garden)

Congratulations, nominees!
