Don’t be scared to put yourself out of your comfort zone!
I am surprised by how much I enjoyed my time abroad! I did not expect to love Brazil as much as I did. I wanted to learn and improve my proficiency in another language and have the opportunity to visit a new country. I enjoyed living with my host mom, as I feel that I was really immersed in the culture. My only regret is not going for a longer time to be able to explore more of the city and country. I am looking forward to continuing my Portuguese learning and hopefully visiting Brazil again someday.
