About
Bailey Apollonio is a doctoral candidate in the Department of Film, Television, and Media. Her current research explores the intersections between media industries, fandom, and generational identity. More specifically, Bailey is composing a dissertation that analyzes the circulatory relationship between children’s media industries, the fan objects they produce and distribute, and their adult fans. Her research has appeared in Alphaville: Journal of Film and Screen Media and the Journal of Fandom Studies.
