FTVM Student Film GOOD COMPANY Wins Production Award
On Saturday April 30, 2016, the Screen Arts student film Good Company tied in the Long Form-Fiction Category for the 2016 College/University Student Production Award through the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, Michigan. The awards ceremony was hosted by anchors from Detroit's WDIV TV, Channel 4, and WXYZ TV, Channel 7; and WNEM TV in Saginaw, Bay City, and Flint. Detroit Public Television recorded the event. Screen Arts alumna and Director Claudia Fuentes and senior FTVM major/Producer Hannah Noel received a crystal pillar along with a certificate.
Good Company also received Drama Runner-Up in the December 2015 Lightsworks Festival and was produced out of FTVM 400 taught by Robert Rayher.

Good Company tells the story of Max, a financial analyst at an elite firm, who is up for a promotion. He must prove that he is the perfect employee for the position, but his competitive edge and drive for success will only take him so far. Overwhelmed by the pressure he finds himself in when competing for the position, Max begins to lose grip of his reality. Will he achieve his goal, or will the pressure to succeed break him apart?
