On November 20, 2018,  Vincent Longo presented at a conference on audiovisual essay pedagogy at Monash University in Melbourne, Australia. Longo’s presentation argued for the importance of accommodating students not majoring in media studies or production when teaching the audiovisual essay and suggested strategies used in FTVM 236 to accomplish this.
