Doctoral Candidate Vincent Longo was one of twelve graduate students chosen to participate in the 2018 DOMITOR (The Society for the Study of Early Cinema) Graduate Workshop. Held over June 11-12 at the George Eastman Museum in Rochester, New York, conference participants discussed the importance of provenance for film history and archival studies with senior scholars and archivists, and also received hands-on experience with the creation, coloring, restoration, and preservation of nitrate film.
