Oliver Thornton produced three projects last year that have been nominated as part of the 42nd Annual Michigan Emmy Awards. Mackinac - Our Famous Island was nominated in the "Documentary - Historical" category including FTVM alums Matthew Stinson ('10) and Tina Brunn (nee Bauder, '99).  Thornton and Brunn were also nominated together for the first installment of  Orchestra Hall - A Centennial Celebration in the "Historic/Cultural - Program/Special" category. Finally, Thornton and Stinson were nominated for the final season of "Oakland All-Access" in the "Sports Program - Post-Produced or Edited" category. This year the Emmys will be announced in a virtual ceremony on June 20, 2020, at 7:00 p.m.
