Assistant Professor Yvette Granata was commissioned by The Viz Laboratory for Visual Culture and the Onassis Foundation to contribute a new work to "The Suspension of Litanies," an exhibition curated by Kostis Stafylakis about the premonitions, anxieties, and clandestine yearnings haunting the monitored, yet abandoned, quarantined self. Granata's piece, Google Yrself Clean, is a 3D animated visual essay that meditates on the softness of virus proteins, soap, and social media bubbles. The exhibition runs from September 16 - October 9, 2020 at Viz Laboratory for Visual Culture in Athens, Greece.
