Over the past week, DHC Librarian Philip Hallman and numerous FTVM graduate students and film studies faculty attended and presented papers at the Society for Cinema & Media Studies (SCMS) conference in Chicago on March 6-10. The SCMS is dedicated to the scholarly study of film, television, video & new media.  

Associate Professor Yeidy Rivero has served on the SCMS Board of Directors since 2010 and Professor Richard Abel was interviewed about his service as SCMS President from 1987-1989.
