The 2012 Peter & Barbara Benedek Prize for Best TV script was awarded to (FTVM '12) Brandon Verdi's TV script titled, Breaking Bad, "Alone Time.   Also, the Michigan Creative Film Alliance, a film production collaboration between University of Michigan, Michigan State and Wayne State film programs, selected Brandon's screenplay,  Downriver, to be filmed this summer in southeastern Michigan. The premiere screening  of Downriver will be in March 2013 at the Detroit Institute of Arts.  Congratulations to Brandon!
