Lauren Freeman is a sophomore FTVM major with a minor in music and a focus on film scoring. Initially interested in music performance, Lauren recently found a love for film and media and found a way to combine her two greatest passions. Her biggest musical inspirations are Dave Porter, Quincy Jones, and Herman Beeftink. Lauren believes that representation in both the film and music industries is integral in shaping them to be more inclusive of all identities, which allows more people to be unapologetically themselves when creating and sharing their art.
