Bethany Carter is a junior from Redford, MI. She is a Film, Television, and Media Major pursuing a screenwriting sub-major and also has a creative writing minor. Bethany intends to do screenwriting and production full-time after graduation and open up a non-profit organization for children struggling with food insecurity in urban areas. Her recent-go-to film recommendation is Entergalatic and she has been loving the Hulu original Only Murders in the Building! In her free time, she writes and performs poetry, sings, likes hanging out with friends and family, and reading. Bethany is very grateful to be able to be a Mitchell Scholar this school year and looks forward to the amazing opportunities to come!
