The move to remote instruction presents unique challenges to assessing student learning, as instructors adapt traditional assessments to be administered online. But this disruption also provides an opportunity to reimagine assessment—even beyond remote learning.
This three-part seminar series will provide participants with practical techniques to design quality, authentic assessments. The first session discusses ways to foster academic integrity when designing assessments. The second session will explore a variety of options for nontradional assessment, and the final session will provide practical strategies for desinging rubrics. Facilitators will be available for Q & A at the end of each session.
