The BlueCorps staff strives to help you feel more comfortable using technology.
Service Status: Active

Whether you want an in-depth tour of Canvas or a quick introduction to iMovie, BlueCorps walk-ins, consultations, and workshops are a great opportunity for students, faculty, and staff to become more comfortable navigating the University of Michigan technology environment.

We specialize in providing a supportive environment; no question is unimportant to us!

Student Resources

The BlueCorps consultants strive to help you feel more comfortable using your computer. LSA students can take advantage of both workshops and walk-in support for technology and services offered on campus, such as using the Adobe Creative Suite apps, navigating Canvas, creating in WordPress, and more. We specialize in helping beginners be comfortable with the technology they need to use.

BlueCorps also hires and trains student workers to be consultants; no previous computer knowledge is necessary. If you think you might like to become a BlueCorps consultant yourself, keep an eye on the student job site in the Fall! We usually hire new consultants each September.

Faculty Resources

BlueCorps provides a number of services for LSA faculty by appointment as well as during walk-in consultation hours.

BlueCorps Advisors can assist LSA faculty with:

  • Using Canvas more effectively
  • How to use presentation software like PowerPoint and Google Slides
  • Basic video editing
  • In-class workshops for your students on how to get started with Wordpress, Google Suite, Microsoft Office, or audio-visual tools
