SORMA XV: June 9 - 12, 2014 – University of Michigan - Ann Arbor
The Michigan League (Main Conference)
The Rackham Auditorium (Plenary Sessions)
The Michigan Stadium -- "The Big House" (Conference Reception)
University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA
Symposium Chairman: David K. Wehe
A memorial service for Professor Glenn F. Knoll (pamphlet) will be held at the beginning of SORMA XV conference. Time and Location: June 9 (Monday), 6-9 pm, Vandenburg Room, Michigan League This event is open to all. In memoriam: Professor Glenn Frederick Knoll |
This Symposium is the 15th in a series of technical meetings dealing with ionizing radiation and its applications that began in 1964 and has subsequently been held at intervals of every four to five years. Recently, it has been held every other year in Ann Arbor and the west coast area alternatively. The most recent in this series was held in 2010 on the University of Michigan campus (SORMA XIII) and in 2012 at Oakland (SORMA XIV), with a program that included over 500 presentations in both oral and poster format. Its focus has expanded over the decades to include the breadth of ionizing radiation measurement applications and technologies.
This year, the social program will include dinner and activities at UM's famous football stadium, the "Big House," which will be a memorable unique experience for you.
