Join us for an exciting Career Trek to New York City, where you'll have the unique opportunity to visit and network with professionals from three prestigious companies: Madison Square Garden, Disney, and The Montag Group.
This event is designed for college students looking to gain insights into the media and entertainment sectors, expand their professional network, and explore potential career paths. The Opportunity Hub provides flight and hotel accommodations, and will cover the cost of most meals.

Application Requirements: Students must complete a brief online application, submit a résumé, and upload their most recent transcript (to ensure good academic standing). Applications will be reviewed as they are submitted. Spots are limited.
Career Trek Itinerary
Day # 1: March 4, 2026
Exclusive Dinner with University of Michigan Alumni
Day # 2: March 5, 2026
Disney: Get an inside look at Disney’s NYC headquarters to learn more about career options within the company and network with alumni and current employees about their experience within the organization.
The Montag Group: Learn more about the media talent representation and production industry through engaging with the group who represents some of the top names and brands in sports.
Day # 3: March 6, 2026
MSG Entertainment: Meet with the managers of the world renowned Madison Square Garden, and all aspects of their business. From media production, to professional sports, to world known music partnerships, we will engage with the teams behind it all. A venue tour will also be included.
*Additional visits/events may be added leading up to the trek.
Important Information
*Students selected to participate will be required to attend a Mandatory Orientation on February 19th OR 20th.
All undergraduate students who are interested in exploring various companies and the roles available within are encouraged to apply. We also encourage all students, regardless of their career exploration journey, to apply for the LSA Opportunity Hub’s Career Trek experience.
Cost: All costs associated with the trip, including travel, lodging, and most meals, will be covered by the LSA Opportunity Hub. This is a fully funded opportunity designed to provide students with unparalleled access to top-tier companies and professionals in New York City.
