About the Conference
Over the last two decades, geometric function theory has broadened its scope, interactions, and connections with many fields including, but not limited to, analysis on metric spaces, mappings of finite distortion, conformal geometry and nonlinear PDE, and geometric group theory. This conference seeks to bring together experts and others to share their understanding of these emerging connections and interactions and to foster new collaborations. It features a distinguished lineup of presenters who are recognized leaders and emerging stars in diverse fields of analysis.
The conference aims to broaden research opportunities for participants at all stages of their careers. The program design specifically includes events ranging from options for graduate students to present their work to chances for senior researchers to share their expertise. Seminal talks presenting overviews of the fields of geometric group theory, analysis on metric spaces, and geometric function theory will enhance foundational knowledge. These talks will be especially beneficial to graduate students and early career attendees as well as mathematicians at any level working in related fields.
