Each spring the Department recognizes excellence among its students with Departmental prizes, and every year several students of mathematics earn Departmental, Local, and National awards—including Churchill, Marshall, and Goldwater scholarships. Additionally, the Department awards scholarships to about fifteen percent of its more than 500 declared majors.
Scholarship & Award Competition opportunities are sent to students who are majoring in Mathematics.
