The Mathematics Department offers a wide variety of academic seminars aimed to enhance the scholarly pursuits of students and faculty here at the University of Michigan. Mathematics seminars cover a wide variety of topics ranging from Mathematical Biology to Financial/Actuarial Mathematics to Teaching Mathematics. While most of the seminars offered by the Math Department are geared towards faculty members, there are a number of student led seminars more appropriate for graduate and undergraduate students. A Colloquium on Tuesdays is aimed at a more general mathematical audience.
