The intellectual development afforded by an undergraduate degree in mathematics provides an excellent background for a wide variety of careers and research. By the same token, since mathematics is extremely broad and the career/research opportunities are correspondingly diverse, there is no "single plan" that will work for every student of mathematics every year. We encourage you to explore some of the research and career options available, but please note that it is important to always be on the lookout for career and research opportunities.
In particular, to keep up with the latest career and research information please subscribe to the Department's weekly undergraduate newsletter by clicking "Join Group" at the top right, or you can view the weekly Missive online here.
