Lydia Bieri has been awarded an NSF Faculty Early Career Development (Career) award for her project "Geometric-Analytic Investigations of Spacetimes and their Nonlinear Phenomena."  The CAREER Award is the NSF's most prestigious recognition that supports junior faculty who exemplify the role of teacher-scholars through outstanding research, excellent education and the integration of education and research within the context of the mission of their organizations.
