Hi, my name is Isaias, pronounced /ai.sei.ʌs/ or /i.sa.i.as/. I am a Ph.D. student at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. I received a B.A. in Cognitive Science and a B.A. in Psychology from the University of California, Davis. I conduct research in sociolinguistics and phonetics. More specifically, I research discrimination through language, such as microaggressions. I am also interested in a wide range of fields including psycholinguistics, neurolinguistics, natural language processing, and documentation.
