The Deb Lacusta and Dan Castellaneta Award for Excellence in Comedic Screenwriting or Playwriting
Awards will range from $500 - $3,000
All FTVM students who have written a full-length screenplay, original pilot or play are eligible. All SMTD playwriting students are eligible to submit their one or two act comedies as well!
Two categories:
LONG FORM:
Feature-length screenplays - 85-120 pages
Full length two-act plays - 85-120 pages
SHORT FORM
Original Television Pilots - 40 to 50 pages
One Act Plays - 40 to 50 pages
To apply:
(a) Upload your script to Dropbox. Your name may not appear on the work.
(b) Upload a separate cover sheet including your name, e-mail address, student ID number,
phone number, and address.
(c) One submission per student.
