                Emily Jade Foley is a Lecturer at University of Michigan, an Executive Producer, and former Head of Development at Hear/Say Productions. Collaborating with mentor Frances McDormand, she executive produced Best Picture nominee WOMEN TALKING, directed by Sarah Polley. She also co-produced Best Picture Oscar winner NOMADLAND, directed by Chloe Zhao, in which she additionally plays the role of “Emily”. Prior to taking on producorial roles, she gained experience on the sets of The Coen Brothers’ THE BALLAD OF BUSTER SCRUGGS, Martin McDonagh’s THREE BILLBOARDS OUTSIDE EBBING, MISSOURI, and Lisa Cholodenko’s OLIVE KITTERIDGE, as well as in the edit room for John Carney’s BEGIN AGAIN. Emily graduated from U of M in 2009 and currently resides in Brooklyn, MI.
