About
Areas of specialization: Paleobiology, Evolutionary Biology
The central goal of my research is to understand the processes that drive the evolution of traits related to ecology (ecomorphology) across time, space, and hierarchical levels of biological organization. I work primarily on extinct and living mammals because of their excellent fossil record and outstanding historical and modern ecological diversity. My postdoctoral research will investigate the evolutionary consequences of dietary specialization at the earliest stages of the Cenozoic mammalian radiation using the exceptional fossil, paleoenvironmental, and geologic records of the Bighorn Basin.
