Professor, Emeritus
About
Professor Walker's research is concerned with the processes that control the composition of the ocean and the atmosphere and the way in which these processes may have changed during the course of earth history, particularly as a result of biological evolution. The work involves a combination of theoretical modeling and observation and interpretation of the sedimentary rock record. He has also conducted research in the fields of aeronomy, ionospheric physics, planetary atmospheres, and atmospheric chemistry.
