The Politics, Environment, and Science Lab focuses on the role that digital media play in shaping public opinion and public engagement with politics and science. We are a group of undergraduate students, graduate students, and faculty that use quantitative methodologies to examine how media content influences various attitudes and behaviors related to the politics of scientific expertise. We are currently working on projects related to how social media use influences the credibility of information and beliefs about experts in the context of health and wellness.
