Michigan Communication and Media Professionals
Michigan Communication and Media Professionals (MCMP) is an undergraduate student group open to Communication and Media majors and prospective majors. The organization meets on a regular basis in the fall and winter terms to explore career and internship opportunities in communication- and media-related markets. A primary goal of MCMP is to provide a forum that encourages student leadership, social interaction, networking, and professional development.

Michigan Fashion Media Summit
The Michigan Fashion Media Summit (MFMS) is an undergraduate student-led organization with the goal of connecting University of Michigan students with the fashion and media industries. They hold various events throughout the fall and winter terms to introduce professional opportunities in relevant industries and share news about fashion and trends through online publications, all while planning their main event, the Michigan Fashion Media Summit. This is a day-long event featuring keynote speakers from top names in retail and fashion, networking opportunities, and a student brand showcase.

WOLV-TV
WOLV-TV is a student-run television station at the University of Michigan. Sponsored by the Department of Film, Television, and Media (FTVM), WOLV-TV produces broadcast television-format programming in FTVM’s multi-camera studio. Currently enrolled students of all majors are welcome to join, no previous experience required! There are opportunities for writing, field production, and editing, as well as networking opportunities with professional directors and writers and an annual award ceremony.

The Michigan Daily
The Michigan Daily is an independent, student-run news publication. Their goal is to inform the University of Michigan and the Ann Arbor communities about events and issues of consequence to the University and Washtenaw County. All students attending the University of Michigan, including graduate and international students, are invited to apply. They offer sections on news, sports, arts, and more, along with plenty of leadership opportunities for those interested and motivated.

WCBN-FM Radio
WCBN-FM is a student-run, non-profit radio station servicing the University of Michigan and surrounding communities. Their emphasis is on alternative broadcasting, exposing their listenership to things they can’t hear on other radio stations. To support this goal, their DJs are allowed to select all their own tracks. They also host a daily sports show, as well as special live broadcasts for a number of sports.
