Class standing is determined by the number of credit hours accumulated toward graduation (including test and transfer credit) at the end of a given term. 

Class Standing Credits For Tuition Purposes
First Year Fewer than 25 credits Lower Division
Sophomore 25 through 54 credits Lower Division
Junior 55 through 84 credits Upper Division
Senior 85 credits or more Upper Division
