2021 Graduation

Congratulations, Linguistics Class of 2021!

To our graduating linguists,

In your time at U-M you have worked diligently and grown immensely. Some of you are the first in your family to graduate from college. Some of you have made unique contributions to linguistic research. Some of you have inspired your classmates with leadership positions in extra-curriculars. Some of you will earn degrees with honors and/or distinction. And each of you has made an important and unique impact on your classmates and professors in the Department of Linguistics. Even though we have been mostly remote for over a year now, we are especially sad to not be able to celebrate graduation with you in-person. However, we are immensely proud of you and we will miss you dearly.
