Lucy (Yu-Chuan) is primarily interested in the syntax acquisition of bilinguals, specifically in Mandarin and Taiwanese (Southern Min). Her ongoing research projects focus on the acquisition of Mandarin light verbs by different groups of Mandarin speakers, including L2 learners, heritage speakers, and those involved in the dialectal comparison between Chinese and Taiwanese Mandarin.
