About
Kendall's research examines prosodic-gestural interfaces in African American languages, including African American Vernacular English and Black American Sign Language. She is advised by Dr. Natasha Abner and Dr. Jelena Krivokapić, and she is a member of the Sign Language & Multi-Modal Communication lab and the Phonetics and Phonology lab at the University of Michigan.
