Professor Marlyse Baptista and Ph.D. Candidate Marcus Berger Spoke at LSUGA II
The Linguistic Society at the University of Georgia (LSUGA) hosted the 2nd Interdisciplinary Conference in Linguistics. UM Linguistics Professor Marlyse Baptista was invited to be the plenary speaker at the conference where she spoke on, “An interdisciplinary approach to the study of cognitive processes in language contact.” Linguistics Ph.D. Candidate Marcus Berger also presented at the conference with a paper entitles: “A syntactic analysis of Iquito reality status.”
