Linguistics PhD candidate Marcus Berger successfully defended his dissertation, “The Syntax of Bora Subject Clitics:  Anaphora and Long Distance Binding,” on September 4. His dissertation committee included Acrisio Pires (chair), Marlyse Baptista, Savi Namboodiripad, and Teresa Satterfield.
