John H. and Patricia W. Mitchell Scholarship

Scholarship Process and Guidelines

The John H. and Patricia W. MitchelI Scholarship Fund was established in 2019 through a generous gift from the Patricia W. Mitchell Trusts. The scholarship, which honors the legacy of Columbia Pictures Television Founder John H. Mitchell and his wife, Patricia Mitchell, is designed to support and prepare current and future generations of undergraduate students to become ethical and responsible media professionals and leaders. This need-based scholarship annually supports six exceptionally promising full-time students who are pursuing a major or minor in the Department of Film, Television, and Media (FTVM).
