Vincent Longo who was awarded one of seven inaugural Rackham Intern Fellowships this year. The fellowships aim to provide graduate students opportunities to gain experience with alt-ac and academic-adjacent jobs at partner institutions.

During the fall semester, Longo will work at the Clements Library, which specializes in the collection and preservation of primary sources related to early American history. Longo will lead their new archival education and outreach initiative -- teaching undergraduates how to conduct primary source research, and creating partnerships between the Clements and instructors from universities, community colleges, and high schools to facilitate the use of Clements material in their classes.
