Director of Screenwriting Jim Burnstein Introduces His Film Before the First U-M Home Football Game

On Friday, September 8, 2017, the night before the Cincinnati game, Coach Harbaugh screened Jim Burnstein's film Renaissance Man for the U-M Wolverine football team at the Graduate hotel. Upon Harbaugh's request, Burnstein, Director of the Screenwriting Program, introduced the film and discussed his experiences in its creation. He then asked the team to pay special attention to the St.Crispin’s Day speech and to think about it every time they heard Bo Schembechler’s “The Team, The Team, The Team” speech at The Big House. Burnstein told the Wolverines that --in all of sports -- Bo’s speech best captured the spirit of Shakespeare's “Band of Brothers."
