About
Maria Rossini's primary research interests are 20th century poetry & poetics, the legacy of modernism, global modernism, philosophy, memory studies, and the history of poetics. She wrote her MA thesis at the University of Virginia on "traveling elegy" in the poetry of Agha Shahid Ali, which examined how his elegiac poems provide an opportunity to ask questions about elegy as a productive mode of mourning that responds to a network of loss with a network of memory.
