Grace is a specialist in wild and scenic rivers and sustainable park and facility planning with the National Park Service. Water and its connection to society has been a passion throughout her career. She earned her BS in Earth and Environmental Sciences from the University of Michigan. During this time, she worked in the aquatic geochemistry lab on campus and volunteered with the Huron River Watershed Council. Following undergrad, she was a Project Manager for Antea Group, an environmental consulting firm in Minneapolis and Seattle, where she focused on water risk assessments, contaminated site remediation, and sustainability reporting. After five years in environmental consulting, she returned to school to focus on water resource management. She graduated from the Yale School of Environment in 2022 with an MS in Environmental Management. A summer internship in Colorado with the National Parks Service during graduate school led to a full-time position when she graduated. She now lives in Oregon and spends as much time as she can adventuring in the Pacific Northwest.
